Which Spreader is better for my purpose?

Drop Spreaders:

Place seeds or fertiliser directly below the spreader hopper. Application is therefore very precise.
Better suited to smaller areas as the hoppers tend to be smaller and the active spreading area is smaller.
Very useful for irregular areas and ideal to avoid contaminating ponds, borders or patios, etc.
Easier to calibrate accurately.

Broadcast Spreaders:

Action is gravity dropping onto a spinning disc.
Suitable for covering large areas. Hoppers tend to be larger allowing greater coverage between refills.
Spread width is wider, allowing quicker coverage.
Larger wheels travel better over uneven ground.
