Maxicrop Plus Sequestered Iron
Iron fertiliser solution in a Maxicrop Seaweed Extract base.
Contains 2% (w/w) Iron (Fe) soluble in water.
Prevents and alleviates iron deficiency in flowers, fruit, vegetables nursery stock and turf.
A unique combination of seaweed extract with readily available sequestered iron in a convenient, easy to use liquid form. The plant growth stimulant properties of Maxicrop Seaweed Extract will enhance natural growth processes, leading to greater rooting and establishment, while producing strong healthy growth with improved resistance to pests, diseases and environmental stress.
Minimum analysis (w/w) Total iron (Fe) 2% soluble in water
Maxicrop Plus Sequestered Iron, when sprayed directly onto foliage or applied as a root drench, will prevent yellowing (chlorosis) of leaves in flowers, fruit and vegetables.
Increased yields and extended shelf life can be expected when applied on a regular basis to fruit and vegetables. It will also help produce dark green foliage, healthy growth and increased intensity of flower blooms.
When used on fruit or vegetables, spray foliage only until the flower buds show colour, thereafter apply as a root drench.
Easy to use, simply dilute and apply to plants according to concise direction on pack label.
Application Rates
Apply Maxicrop Plus Sequestered Iron in 100-400 litres of water per ha.
Vegetable crops

Treat plants pre-planting with a 1:300 Plus Sequestered Iron:water solution

Apply 3.0 lts/ha 2 weeks after planting

Apply 3.0 lts/ha a3-4 week intervals during growing season (typically a total of 3-4 post planting applications).

Use as and when required if iron deficiency problems occur.
Fruit and other horticultural crops

Can be applied to plants pre-planting at a dilution rate of 1:300

Apply to foliage @ 3.0 litres per ha as required.

Maxicrop Plus Sequesterd Iron can be used at 10-14 day intervals prior to flowering to green-up leaves before flowering. After flowering, switch to Maxicrop Triple @ 1.5 lts/ha.

For general garden use, apply 45 ml in 9 litres of water (typical watering can size) every 7-14 days, thoroughly wetting the leaves, or 45 ml in 4.5 litres of water applied as a monthly root drench.

To PREVENT chlorosis, apply 45 ml in 4.5 litres per 450 square metres, as a foliar spray, every 14 days, thoroughly wetting the leaves.

To CORRECT chlorosis, apply 45 ml in 4.5 litres of water per 100 square metres as a foliar spray, every 14 days, thoroughly wetting the leaves.
Turf and lawns
Apply at any time during the season at a rate of 600ml per 500 square metres.
