CSS1 Flower Rich Margin & Plots AB8

Use this mixture for Flower-rich Margins and Plots (AB8) to provide:

 

  • Abundant supply of pollen and nectar-rich flowers throughout the summer
  • Pollinating and beneficial insects including bumblebees, solitary bees, butterflies and hoverflies using these flowers

A Natural England preferred mixture - they advise to avoid short-term mixes that do not include Knapweed or Mallow as they will not supply pollinators with long-term food sources for years 4 and 5 of the agreement.

Jack Russell Wild Bird Seed Mixture

Jack Russell is a wild bird seed mixture which provides an excellent food source for one year. The inclusion of grain sorghum gives the mixture winter hardiness and structure.
