Interactive Solitary Bee Hive

The hole sizes of this habitat are designed to attract non-swarming, solitary bees like the Red Mason Bee and the Leafcutter Bee. These friendly bees are industrious and safe around children and pets.

The Solitary Bee Hive features an opening lid and a perspex tray to see bee activity inside the hive without disturbance. The stacking trays also open to allow for inspection and cleaning.

• Perspex covered tray for monitoring bee activity. Inspect these trays after bee activity has finished (Autumn/Winter).
• Mount the Hive between ground level and 1.5m.
• No chemical treatments required - FSC certified timber.
• Protect the bee tubes with mesh to prevent predation by woodpeckers.
• Dimensions: 20cm high, 18cm wide, 15cm deep.
