- Mix well before use
- Apply evenly to the desired area
- Liquid fertiliser must be left to dry on the grass. If rain is imminent, it will wash the liquid feed away or risk diluting it too much. Try to avoid using liquid lawn feed after heavy rainfall - there will be too much water in the lawn and the grass will struggle to take in the nutrients from the fertiliser
- Avoid spraying in bright sunlight as this could result in scorching
- For best results, apply every 3-4 weeks, in addition to seasonal application of granular fertiliser

When to apply Winter Liquid Lawn Fertiliser to your lawn?
Do not apply a liquid lawn fertiliser just before or immediately after heavy rainfall, as the rain can wash away the fertiliser before it has time to be absorbed. Also, do not to apply in direct sunlight as the fertiliser can burn your grass, doing more harm than good. If the ground is frozen the fertiliser will struggle to absorb through the soil, again this can do more harm than good so it’s best to avoid.
Does my lawn require any maintenance in Winter?
Yes, your lawn will require some maintenance in the winter months. Arguably, not as much as the warmer months, but it will still take some effort. Proper lawn care ensures your lawn will be healthy and strong come spring.
Maintenance includes
- Removing any debris from your lawn, like fallen leaves, twigs or other debris that can affect the grass.
- Mow your lawn if your grass is continuing to grow, which it can in milder conditions.
- Check your lawn for puddles of water and ensure there is adequate drainage.
- Apply a specifically formulated winter lawn fertiliser that has been designed to protect your lawn from winter diseases, keeping it healthy.
