For best results, seed and granular fertiliser should be applied with a spreader, and liquid fertiliser applied with a specialist sprayer.
STEP 1 - FERTILISER
- Apply the granular Autumn & Winter Fertiliser over the whole area
- Follow the instructions on the pack
- Always wear gloves and we recommend using a spreader for consistent coverage
- Brush off hard surfaces immediately to avoid discolouration (sweep away with a dry brush)
- Avoid plants (wash away the granules if the touch the plants)
STEP 2 - GRASS SEED
- It is beneficial to rake, scarify and aerate your lawn beforehand, in order to ensure good seed to soil contact and strong germination
- Apply the seed immediately following the application of the granular fertiliser evenly over the full area, paying particular attention to bald or thin patches
STEP 3 - LIQUID SEAWEED
- After the seed is sown, dilute the Liquid Seaweed as per the instructions and apply over the whole area
- For best results, apply to damp soil, or when rainfall is imminent
STEP 4 - WINTER VITALITY
- After a further 4-6 weeks, dilute the Vitality Liquid Lawn Fertiliser as per the instructions and apply over the whole area
- For best results, apply when the soil is moist but rainfall is not imminent.
STEP 5 - LIQUID IRON
- After a further 4-6 weeks, dilute the Liquid Iron as per the instructions and apply over the whole area
- Apply for an instant green up
When should I apply the Autumn Lawn Transformation Kit?
The perfect time to begin applying your Autumn Lawn Transformation Kit is from late autumn to early November. Ideally when soil temperature is warm and moist enough for seed germination, but not too warm to prevent strong root development.
Can I use the kit if I applied summer fertiliser?
Yes, the Autumn Lawn Transformation Kit has autumn fertiliser that is specifically formulated to prepare your lawn for the colder months. Higher in potassium and lower in nitrogen to support root growth rather than grass leaf growth.
