Kale & Forage Rape Seed
Kale is one of the most popular game cover crops currently used in the UK. Kale is winter hardy, can be utilised for the whole shooting season and has the advantage of being able to last for two seasons. Pheasants find it particularly attractive as it has a thick canopy which gives cover and bare ground underneath the canopy to allow for easy movement.
Forage Rape is very useful as a rescue crop for failed spring sown crops. Forage Rape will establish quickly and provide thick cover into the new year.
