Graduate Sales Executive

£24,000 - £28,000 p.a. depending on experience, plus bonus, plus benefits. 
Office based in Kirton, Boston, Lincs, PE20 1PH.
Full-time permanent, 37.5 hours per week, 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

 

Job Summary

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is an exciting, customer-facing sales role that would suit an ambitious recent graduate, with some work experience either post-university or as part of a sandwich year. The successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity for fast-paced career development in a dynamic and growing company.

 

Duties

  • Respond to customer enquiries, provide quotations, process sales
  • Customer relationship management
  • Attract new and develop existing account customers
  • Advise customers on the use of Boston Seeds products
  • Liaise with suppliers, couriers and hauliers
  • Assist in day-to-day office activities


Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2.1 degree in agriculture, business or related subject
  • An interest in farming, agriculture or horticulture
  • Literacy and numeracy at a high level
  • Good all-round IT skills
  • Some work experience either post-graduation or as a sandwich year
  • A desire to learn new skills

Sales Coordinator

Job Summary

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is integral in processing sales, fulfilling orders and providing exceptional customer service to our customers. The ideal candidate will already be experienced in logistics, customer services or sales in a fast-paced office environment.

  • Processing orders and arranging deliveries
  • Order tracking and progress chasing
  • Handling customer enquiries
  • Taking and processing orders
  • Liaising with suppliers and carriers
  • Assist in day-to-day office activities


Desired Skills

  • Confident telephone manner
  • Literacy and numeracy at a high level
  • Good all-round IT skills and familiarity with accounting software
  • Attention to detail and effective time-management
  • A desire to learn and develop new skills
