All of our wildflower seed mixtures contain 20% native wildflower seeds and 80% meadow grasses which are suitable for establishing rich wildflower meadows in a range of habitats.

The method of creating wildflower meadows using 80% appropriate grasses, with 20% native wildflower seeds is based on research by the Nature Conservancy Council which has been adopted as an industry standard and creates diverse, natural-looking meadows. We're also very proud to say that all 20% seed mixtures from Boston Seeds are carefully created using seeds selected by the RHS as scientifically proven to help tackle the decline in bees, butterfies and other pollinators - something we're extremely keen to support.
